Alisa White, B.S.
Ph.D. Candidate | Kanadia Lab | 2017 - present Research Focus: Neural Progenitor cell heterogeneity in response to minor spliceosome inactivation I am focused on understanding the effects of inactivation of the minor spliceosome in various neural progenitor cells. Including those of the dorsal telencephalon (gives rise to the excitatory neurons of the cortex), the ventral diencephalon (gives rise to the hypothalamus), the medial ganglionic eminence (gives rise to inhibitory neurons of the cortex), and the retina.
